Minnesota MILE is a 100% volunteer-driven non-profit formed to identify outstanding high school sophomores throughout Minnesota for being responsible citizens in their community and/or school and provide them with the opportunity and encouragement to recognize their leadership potential.
The 2014 Leadership Seminar was held June 20-22 and was a huge success! Thank you to all delegates, parents, school representatives and volunteers for believing that youth are our future and making this happen.
The 2014 theme was "Leading Through The Storm." We had a high-energy weekend full of community-building activities, motivational speakers and more, all centered around a leadership-based curriculum, Leadership 101, developed exclusively for MILE and focused on service and community leadership. We are proud to announce that the 2014 Minnesota MILE delegation has committed to 10,285 of community service hours over the next year!
Thank you to all student delegates, who are now our Minnesota MILE Alumni, for demonstrating their leadership and showing that it takes risk, courage and commitment to 'weather the storm.'
